For this project we were assigned a country to take inspiration from to design a logo and menu for a restaurant. The country I got was Japan. The name Kensho is a Japanese word that stands for the zen experience or enlightenment. When one’s own nature is seen for what it truly is. The menu was designed in a long vertical rectangle to give the reader a feeling as if they were reading Japanese text which is read top down, symbols for each title header were also added to highlight this.
